Inverallan HouseInverallan House, near Grantown on Spey, dates from the 18th century, and is situated in provate grounds beside the River Spey. The house has been extensively modernised and refurbished, and can accommodate 15 guests in six double/twin bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and a family suite comprising one double and one single room with shared bathroom. There is a large reception area, cloakroom, TV room, drawing room and dining room. The house is normally let fully staffed, but a self-catering option is also available. Inverallan House featured in The Times Travel supplement (24 November 2012) as one of the ‘20 best houses for Hogmanay’, noted for its “tartan carpets, brooding oil paintings, roaring fires and cosy snugs, with windows looking on to the rushing River Spey.” Inverallan House is also available for corporate lets and meetings.
